Yofiit - Lait de pois chiche riche en protéines w. lin avec avoine (Barista) - 12 cartons

I bought from Costco when they were there for a roadshow. Sad to find out they would not be carrying the Barista version ongoing. I ordered on the Yofiit website and after receiving a shipping notification, was sent another email saying they were out of stock. No sure how you ship something then say it is out of stock. Even this review request says you want my review after fulfilling my order. Disappointed.

I ordered a 12 case of the Barista milk. First time having it but couldn’t find just one to try first in local stores. Was pretty excited that it had protein AND apparently could froth in my coffee. Until it arrived and I can’t get it to foam at all in Nespresso foamer. I ordered a handheld frother on Amazon, I will try that out…but this is one of the worst milks I have tried to foam, and I’ve tried quite a few non dairy barista blends. Maybe it’s the batch I got, but by the time the Nespresso frother is done it’s just flat milk.

I could get over the slightly funny taste (it has a very distinct taste) if it had frothed as I was really hoping after seeing others reviews. Im going to have to keep buying other barista milks and mix it into this one to use all 12 containers so as not to waste it. Pretty disappointed.

Update: A handheld frother did to a bit better than the Nespresso frother, but still not great.
Also I just realized they sent me a 12 case that all expire Oct 7, 2025. They expect me to be able to use 12 cartons in 21 days. Cool. Thanks guys.

Bottom line, buy one carton in store to try it out, but keep your expectations mid. Maybe you will love it but try it first!!

I started drinking Yofiit when I noticed they do not use any Canola, safflower, and sunflower oil in their products, these are inflammatory oils. Like any other plant based milk you get use to the taste. I won’t buy any other product now and trying to get my local coffee shops to use their barista blend.
